Are tech celebrities replacing entertainment celebs? There was an article recently in Vanity Fair that really made me laugh *the YT video is here: http://youtu.be/14_QHZb_ZvU. A collision of two different worlds: LA celebrity meets Silicon Valley celebrity. Keira Knightley vs Sergey Brin. Weinstein vs Zuckerberg. Since I’m a native to Los Angeles, and grew up with the literal “silicon” boobs, lip injections and so forth, it’s safe to say that movie stars were the celebrities of my youth. The high heeled, no wrinkles, big hair, fancy-pants dressed celebrities who waddled down the red carpets. The ones where the interviewers drooled over their every word and talked about their “talent” with fascination and admiration. That was my vision of “celebrity” as a child. Now… Read entire story.
