Sony Pictures has released the latest Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer. While Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is being fleshed out, the studio is also building out its animated Spider-Verse. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will continue building Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as a hero after the first film. After several delays, the film is on track to arrive in theaters this summer.

The highly anticipated sequel will feature multiple iconic Variants of Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will explore at least six different universes, according to the creative team. The new Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse trailer even takes a shot at Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Peter Parker (Tom Holland) from Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) saying: “Don’t get me started on Doctor Strange and that little nerd from Earth-199999.”
