The Codex of Power Aspects in Diablo 4 are divided among the five character classes of Barbarian, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Rogue, and Druid, with some exceptions. There are 20 Aspects that improve the skills of a Druid character when attached to a player’s gear.
The best Aspects are those that can benefit as many abilities as possible.
There are five different categories of Aspects in Diablo 4. The list includes Defensive, Offensive, Resource, Utility, and Mobility Aspects. There are no Druid Aspects in Mobility, leaving the top 10 Aspects speed across the other four categories. Many of these Aspects focus on manipulating the Druid’s Fortify to improve their effects, making it a critical mechanic to invest in.
10 Overcharged Aspect
Overcharged Aspect is an Offensive Aspect found in the Mariner’s Refuge Dungeon in Diablo 4‘s Scosglen zone. The Aspect works off the Druid’s Lightning Skills and is excellent for any Lightning Druid builds. Overcharged Aspect improves the usefulness of Lightning Skills by creating a chain reaction. By overloading a given enemy and continuing to attack them, the player can deal extra damage to nearby enemies at the same time. Overcharged Aspect is great at creating openings for a barrage of attacks.
9 Vigorous Aspect
Vigorous Aspect is essential for any Werewolf Druid builds in Diablo 4, as it reduces damage for the player in their Werewolf form. The Aspect can have up to a 15{81a086e50adc416cb06a533df9c9a0c5cefc9698f6906c0f4cbe2e77960b337a} reduction. Vigorous Aspect can be tough to collect, as it is found within the Steadfast Barracks Dungeon in Hawezar, the most dangerous of the five zones available in Diablo 4. Despite the time needed to collect this Aspect, Druid characters would be fools to Shapeshift into a Werewolf without Vigorous Aspect.
8 Stormshifter’s Aspect
Hurricane is an important ability for Storm Druid builds in Diablo 4, but Stormshifter’s Aspect can make Hurricane a boon for a Druid’s Shapeshifting Skills as well. Stormshifter’s Aspect comes from the Crusader’s Cathedral Dungeon in Kehjistan. With Stormshifter’s Aspect, the Druid’s Shapeshifting Skills (i.e., those involving the Werewolf and Werebear) get +2 Ranks while Hurricane is on-field. Since Ranks are how a Skill can be leveled up, this provides a short-lived but incredible boost to the Druid’s damage capabilities in their Werebeast forms.
7 Shepherd’s Aspect
Shepherd’s Aspect comes from the Bloodsoaked Crag Dungeon in Diablo 4‘s Dry Steppes zone. This Aspect in Diablo 4 is based around Companions like the wolves and ravens Druids can summon. The Druid’s Core Skills get a damage bonus for each Companion active in the battle. Since the Core Skills are an essential toolkit for Druids, Shepherd’s Aspect is a must-have for any Druid Builds who frequently use Companions.
6 Ballistic Aspect
Ballistic Aspect has benefits similar to Stormshifter’s but with a longer-lasting effect. Added to the Codex of Power after defeating the Whispering Pines Dungeon in Scosglen, Ballistic Aspect gives all Earth Skills +2 Ranks when the player has Fortify. This is the first of many Druid Aspects in Diablo 4 that play on Fortify. Maintaining Fortify in combat allows all Earth Druid builds to dominate their enemies with powerful attacks.
5 Skinwalker’s Aspect
Skinwalker’s Aspect is a Defensive Aspect from the Fading Echo Dungeon in Kehjistan. When the player transforms into a Werewolf or Werebear, they will either gain Life or, if their Life is full, gain Fortify. This is a great way to recover and strengthen the Druid in battle and is excellent for any builds relying on the Werebeasts. This Aspect can also help support the other Aspects that feed off of Fortify.
4 Aspect of Quicksand
Aspect of Quicksand is great for Earth Druid builds and overall crowd control in Diablo 4. With this Aspect, whenever an Earth Skill hits an enemy, they will be Slowed by up to 50{81a086e50adc416cb06a533df9c9a0c5cefc9698f6906c0f4cbe2e77960b337a} for 5 seconds. Slow enemies are easier to pick off, making Aspect of Quicksand useful in any Druid build. Even if players haven’t invested in their Earth Skills, they can Slow enemies and let their stronger attacks pick them off. Aspect of Quicksand can be found after beating the Ferals’ Den Dungeon in Scosglen.
3 Crashstone Aspect
Crashstone Aspect is another Aspect in Diablo 4 that plays on the Druid’s Earth Skills. It is the main reward for beating the Stockades Dungeon in Scosglen. With this Aspect, Earth Skills have a higher Critical Strike Damage against enemies with a status like Slow, Stun, Taunt, Fear, and more. A Druid’s Earth Skills become more potent in combat by pairing this Aspect with Aspect of Quicksand.
2 Aspect of the Unsatiated
Aspect of the Unsatiated can be found in the Tormented Ruins Dungeon in Fractured Peaks, making it a significant Aspect to grab early on in a playthrough of Diablo 4. This Aspect plays with Werewolf Skills and Shred, a specific Werewolf attack. Whenever the Druid kills someone with Shred, their next Werewolf Skill deals more damage and generates more Spirit. This fantastic Resource Aspect is designed to power up the Druid’s Werewolf form.
1 Aspect of Retaliation
Aspect of Retaliation plays with Fortify to boost the Druid’s Core Skill damage. The more Fortify the Druid has, the more damage their Core Skills can deal. This is an easy Aspect to apply to any Druid build because Fortify is useful in multiple builds, and Core Skills cover most of the main Druid builds. This is arguably the best Druid Aspect available in Diablo 4.
