Kelsea Ballerini is the latest entertainer to get hit while performing.
On Wednesday night (June 28), the 29-year-old country music singer was performing at the Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho when she was forced to stop her concert after getting hit in the face by an unknown object.

Kelsea was in the middle of performing when an object hit her in the face, seemingly right in her eye, as seen by a video shared by concertgoers on Twitter.
After getting hit, Kelsea turned away from the mic and started rubbing her eye. Her violin player then walked over to check her eye and make sure that she was alright. Kelsea then started strumming her guitar again and waved to fans, but then stopped performing altogether and rushed off stage.
Kelsea was able to return to the stage to continue on with the show, and shared a message with the audience.
“If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know. There’s security everywhere tonight,” Kelsea said. “If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling or anything, always flag it.”
“Don’t throw things,” Kelsea continued. “I always want that for shows of mine, of every artists’, but I’m in control of this one and I want it to be a safe space for everyone, I have little kids here, and can you help me do that tonight, please?”
As of right now, it’s unknown what hit Kelsea, who threw the object, or how badly Kelsea was hurt.
This is just the latest in a string of dangerous interactions between artists performing during their concerts and fans.
Bebe Rexha recently had to get stitches after getting a cell phone thrown at her face during a concert, Ava Max got struck in the face by a fan who jumped up on stage, and a fan threw their mother’s ashes up on stage during Pink‘s concert.
