Netflix has officially acquired the rights to the upcoming high school comedy movie titled Incoming, which serves as the feature directorial debut of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia writers Dave and John Chernin.

After exiting the FX sitcom, the Chernin brothers wrote and created their own comedy series The Mick, which starred It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s own Kaitlin Olson. The Fox sitcom only lasted for two seasons from 2017-2018.

The film is executive produced by Caroline James and Noah Nusinow. Producers are Nicholas Stoller and Conor Welch for Stoller Global Solutions; Todd Garner, Peter Principato, Ben Silverman and Mark Korshak for Artists Road, and Peter Oillataguerre.

Who’s the cast of Incoming?

Incoming will be led by Mason Thames (The Black Phone), Bardia Seiri (Grey’s Anatomy), Ramon Reed (13: The Musical), and Raphael Alejandro (Once Upon a Time), as they portray four freshman trying to navigate the terrors of adolescence at their first-ever party.

They will be joined in the movie by an ensemble cast consisting of Bobby Cannavale (Old Dads, The Watcher), Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadephia), Scott MacArthur (No Hard Feelings), Isabella Ferreira (Love Victor, Crush), Ali Gallo (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Loren Gray (100% Wolf), Thomas Barbusca (The Mick, Luckiest Girl Alive), and more.
