Focus tells the story of Nicky Spurgeon, a con-man who compromises his craft through a romantic connection. When he first meets Jess Barrett, he lets her into his heart and into his trade. However, when they become too emotionally intimate, Nicky decides to break up. Unfortunately, when he takes a new job in Buenos Aires three years later, he finds that he is not alone.
