“I don’t think they know how dangerous it is?” “They know.” Netflix has unveiled the main official trailer for the series Senna, a dramatized version of the story of famed Formula 1 race car driver Ayrton Senna. This is a biopic about the Brazilian racer and his legacy, including all of his major victories and everything he achieved on & off the track. “Even before I got into a car, I already knew I was born to race” says Ayrton Senna, played by Gabriel Leone in this series. The main trailer reveals many snippets of historic, thrilling moments in the life of the racing legend. Never-before-seen images have also been released from Netflix’s much-awaited production made in Brazil. Senna is the driver who won the F1 World Drivers’ Championship three times before passing away in an accident on the race track in May ’94. In addition to Leone, Brazilian actors featured: Alice Wegmann, Camila Márdila, Christian Malheiros, Gabriel Louchard, Hugo Bonemer, Julia Foti, Marco Ricca, Nicolas Cruz, Pâmela Tomé, Rodrigo Veloso and Susana Ribeiro. Plus Arnaud Viard, Joe Hurst, Johannes Heinrichs, Kaya Scodelario, Tom Mannion as Sid Watkins. This looks fantastic – the driving scenes are spectacular, seems like a respectful series about this iconic driver. Everyone knows the documentary – this looks just as good. Ready to watch in November.
