Last month, we got our first taste of Jared Leto’s Joker voice, and fans went (in Leto’s words) really, really, really crazy. Now, following a Suicide Squad cast photo in which Leto was conspicuously absent (sparking a #WheresJared hashtag trend), director David Ayers has posted a pic that might be our first glimpse of Jared sporting his insane clown look. Batman fans will recognize the image from the cover of the classic Alan Moore graphic novel The Killing Joke. It’s not hard to see why this is being regarded as the first pic of Leto in costume, but let’s be honest – it’s really just Jared taking a mirror selfie with green hair, which is probably something he did for years, before he got cast.
