Smash Mouth is reacting to Kim Kardashian‘s recent post.
On Wednesday (September 6), the 42-year-old reality star took to Twitter to share a few steamy mirror selfies while posing in a metallic bikini.
Kim captioned the photos, “All that glitters is gold” – which are lyrics from Smash Mouth‘s hit 1999 single “All Star.”
After Kim shared the photos, Smash Mouth reacted.

While reposting Kim‘s post, Smash Mouth added more lyrics from the song, tweeting, “Only shooting stars.”
Kim shared the bikini photos just two days after Smash Mouth‘s former frontman Steve Harwell died at the age of 56 from acute liver failure.
While some found Kim‘s timing to be insensitive, Smash Mouth fans defended her.
“People saying ‘too soon’ really didn’t knew steve and it shows lol,” one fan wrote, defending Kim.
Smash Mouth agreed with the fan, responding, “Exactly,” along with the red 100 emoji.
