There’s a breaking news update regarding the 2023 Academy Awards.
The star-studded evening, celebrating the best in film over the past year, is set to kick off on Sunday (March 12) on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
The show will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, who previously led the awards show in 2017 and 2018, and an eclectic list of presenters will also appear throughout the night.
Unfortunately, one of the previously announced presenters will no longer be on hard to present during the ceremony due to illness.

Glenn Close is no longer going to present at the 2023 Oscars after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 75-year-old award-winning actress will no longer be presenting at the Oscars, and is currently isolating and resting, a rep for the star said to AP.
There’s no immediate word on who will replace her as a presenter among the approximately 40 stars who will appear on stage.
