Shout! Studios has it all boxed up and ready for the 4K Ultra HD marketplace on Aug. 6. Not just one new 4K, or even two, but a trilogy of films starring William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) and Ted “Theodore” Logan (Keanu Reeves).
Titled Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Trilogy, fans of the time-traveling (or is that time-tripping?) get the entire mega adventure delivered as a three 4K Ultra HD/three Blu-ray Combo Pack collection.
Director Stephen Herek’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure began the odyssey in 1989, followed by filmmaker Pete Hewitt’s 1991 Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey … and then in 2020 they returned, along with their respective daughters Theadora “Thea” Preston (Samara Weaving) and Wilhelmina “Billie” Logan, for director Dean Parisot’s Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was previously released (2022) as a stand-alone 4K Ultra HD and both Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and Bill & Ted Face the Music will be available as 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Packs on Aug. 6 as well. Trilogy or individually, your pick!
