Today’s Connections throws a fun little easter egg into the start of the game which can quickly lock your brain into thinking one thing, while the answer is quite different. While the word-grouping game can be easy most of the time, sometimes it’s easy to get stuck on some word connections that just aren’t the right answer.
With the February 7th Connections the game starts out with SPONGE, BOB, SQUARE, and PANTS as the first four words. This instantly forces the player into thinking they must go together due to the popular children’s show, but it’s actually a distraction and a quick way to lose one of your mistake attempts.
