There are lots of new genre flicks hitting VOD this week, including a few big ones that are worth paying extra attention to.
- Everybody loves Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water. It’s nominated for 11 Academy Awards, and has garnered all kinds of praise from critics and fans alike. Now, you can check it out for yourself, so see if it lives u to the hype.
- For our money though, this week’s best VOD release is Midnighters. This little thriller has come out of nowhere to become 2018’s best Indie surprise, and it’s #1 on our must see list for the weekend.
- Another one that look impressive is the brutal historical thriller, Mohawk. Steeped in reality, we’re expecting big things from this one.
- Cruel Summer is one that came out a few years back, but is just now seeing a proper VOD release. If you like Backwoods Horror, check it out.
- Everything else, as always, is a crap-shoot. So good enjoy.

*If you aren’t already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. Check it out for free HERE.
